Geekland, an industrial touchscreen device manufacturer based in Atlanta, Georgia, has launched the GKIND10IP65TF, an open industrial biometric time clock platform designed for enterprise developers and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). The GKIND10IP65TF aims to provide a flexible and customizable solution for managing employee attendance and access control in industrial settings.
The GKIND10IP65TF is a fanless, PoE-powered 10-inch terminal that runs on standard Linux or Windows 11. This open platform allows development teams to deploy their existing applications, agents, and browser-based kiosks without the need to port them to a proprietary system. The device pairs a biometric camera and fingerprint scanner with a customer-supplied card reader, enabling enterprises to maintain their existing badge programs.
The GKIND10IP65TF features an Intel J6412 processor, 8 GB of RAM, and a 256 GB SSD, running either Linux or Windows 11. It includes a biometric face-recognition camera with a removable cover glass and a built-in fingerprint scanner. The terminal also supports a customer-supplied card reader, which is connected via a GPIO-controlled LED that signals acceptance or denial at the point of tap.
The device boasts a 10-inch, 1280×800 optically bonded capacitive touchscreen, ensuring clear readability. It is housed in a fanless aluminum enclosure with a polished-edge front bezel and a wall mount bracket. Optional IP65 sealing is available for washdown, dusty, and outdoor-adjacent locations. The GKIND10IP65TF also features simple installation with Power over Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and four USB ports for scanners, printers, or additional peripherals.
Operator feedback is provided through dual 2 W front speakers and a built-in microphone. The GKIND10IP65TF is designed for in-house teams and OEMs, offering a standardized endpoint that IT can image and administer with existing Linux or Windows tools. For OEMs and solution providers, it serves as a ready-made hardware line with custom front-bezel branding, suitable for time clock, visitor management, and shop-floor kiosk products from a single SKU.
The GKIND10IP65TF is now available for evaluation and volume orders. Configuration options include operating system, standard or IP65 ingress protection, and black, white, or silver finishes. Pricing is available upon request.
