Fuze Finance, a regulated crypto-assets infrastructure provider, has expanded its operations to Switzerland, marking its entry into Western Europe. The move comes as Switzerland seeks to solidify its position as a leader in crypto-assets regulation, with around 80% of Swiss banks yet to offer a regulated crypto-assets service.

Fuze Finance received approval from the Supervisory Organisation for Financial Intermediaries and Trustees (SO-FIT) as an affiliated financial intermediary, subject to supervision under the Anti-Money Laundering Act. This regulatory approval positions Fuze to offer institutional clients a comprehensive suite of crypto-assets infrastructure and stablecoin settlement services, integrated with traditional financial rails such as SWIFT, SEPA, and SIC.

"Switzerland is a key financial hub, and we are excited to bring our experience to this market," stated Mo Ali Yusuf, CEO of Fuze Finance. "Swiss banks and fintechs are looking for robust, regulated infrastructure that can support their growth and innovation. Our offering will enable them to scale more efficiently and meet the increasing demand for crypto-assets."

The expansion to Switzerland complements Fuze Finance’s existing regulatory licenses in the Middle East, Turkey, and Canada. Gianluca Masini, Country Manager of Fuze Finance (Switzerland), emphasized the company’s commitment to providing top-tier services. "Switzerland has established a regulatory framework that recognizes crypto-assets as an integral part of the future financial landscape. Under SO-FIT, we are building a local team with agile decision-making capabilities to serve Swiss institutions effectively."

Fuze Finance will offer a range of services including institutional crypto brokerage, over-the-counter (OTC) execution on an agency basis, and embedded crypto-asset brokerage. These services are aligned with a joint-paper published with blockchain security and risk solutions firm, Halborn, highlighting best practices in the industry.

For Swiss private banks and wealth managers, Fuze will provide a fully disclosed, crypto-asset services model delivered through Swiss-regulated partner institutions. This approach ensures that clients benefit from the security and transparency offered by both Fuze Finance and its Swiss partners.

"Swiss institutions hold their service providers to a high standard," Masini noted. "We aim to deliver the best possible service from day one, leveraging our experience in regulated markets to support the growing client demand for crypto-assets and stablecoins."

Fuze Finance’s expansion into Switzerland underscores the growing acceptance and regulation of crypto-assets in major financial centers. As more institutions seek to integrate these technologies into their operations, Fuze Finance is well-positioned to serve as a trusted partner in the evolving landscape of digital finance.
