Function Health, a company dedicated to empowering individuals to manage their health through advanced medical testing and data, announced today that its members can now securely connect their Function health data to Meta's new personal AI agent, Muse. This integration allows members to bring their personal health information into the AI experience, providing a more personalized and insightful approach to health management.

Jonathan Swerdlin, CEO and Co-founder of Function Health, stated, "Your AI should know your biology." He explained that by connecting Function health data to Muse, individuals can bring a detailed understanding of their health into the AI platforms they use daily. This integration is part of Function Health's mission to help people see, understand, and act on their biological data over time, making AI more useful in health-related decisions.

The process of connecting Function health data to Muse is straightforward and secure. Members can authorize the connection through the same account controls they use to manage their account data. Once connected, Muse utilizes a member's lab results and clinician-reviewed summaries to inform the goals and tasks a member brings to the platform.

For instance, members can ask Muse how a lab result compares to their optimal range before deciding whether to act on it. They can also have Muse build or adjust a plan toward a health goal, using their own Function insights as context. Additionally, Muse can flag when it's time to schedule the member's next Function lab visit and follow up until it's on the calendar.

Function Health's Medical Intelligence Lab™ (MI Lab™) is leveraging a dedicated clinical team to develop a continuous learning system that helps its members see, understand, and act on their biology over time. Members gain access to 160+ lab tests, including biannual testing for the heart, hormones, thyroid, liver, kidneys, heavy metal exposures, nutrient levels, inflammation, potential cancer signals, and more. Each member's results are integrated into an intelligent, personalized interface designed to support powerfully informed decision-making.

Function Health's MI Lab™ also offers MRI and CT services, designed to detect signs of cancer and hundreds of other conditions, for an additional cost. The company believes that everyone should have the power to own their health, and this new integration with Meta's Muse is a significant step in achieving that goal.
