FSBO.com Launches PACT™ to Modernize Homebuying Process

New York, September 4, 2026, FSBO.com has introduced PACT™, a groundbreaking digital offer-to-contract technology aimed at modernizing the homebuying process. PACT™, or Purchase Agreement Creator Technology, streamlines negotiations between buyers, sellers, and real estate professionals by providing a single, digital platform for offer creation and management.

The technology allows buyers to submit offers directly through a property listing, guiding all parties through the negotiation process electronically. Sellers can review offers, counter individual terms, decline offers, request best and final submissions, and manage multiple competing offers within a centralized experience. Once negotiations are complete, PACT™ generates a clean memorandum of understanding that reflects the final agreed-upon terms, while maintaining a digital record of the negotiation history.

"Real estate has long accepted an unnecessarily complicated offer process," said Brad Rice, co-founder of FSBO.com. "The traditional method involves multiple documents that need to be pieced together to determine what everyone agreed to. PACT™ aims to simplify this by making the offer process as easy as clicking a button and being guided through the process."

Originally developed through Homepie, a company founded by Rice, the technology has been significantly expanded and enhanced for FSBO.com. The platform is designed to accommodate transactions involving both represented and unrepresented buyers and sellers, ensuring that the experience remains accessible to all parties.

"When an agent is involved, they can continue managing the negotiation on behalf of the client while the buyer or seller maintains visibility into the process and remains responsible for reviewing and signing the applicable terms," explained Mike Kortas, VP of Technology at FSBO.com.

PACT™ is not limited to transactions where both parties are unrepresented. It accounts for various circumstances, including multiple offers, contingencies, home-sale requirements, rent-back arrangements, individual counteroffers, and best-and-final negotiations. By digitizing and simplifying a process that historically required significant manual coordination, FSBO.com believes PACT™ can contribute to reducing the overall cost and complexity associated with buying and selling real estate.

"This is much bigger than simply adding another feature to FSBO.com," Kortas said. "Every unnecessary step in a real estate transaction creates friction, consumes time, and ultimately adds cost somewhere in the process. If technology can simplify those steps while creating greater transparency for everyone involved, there is an opportunity to make buying and selling a home more efficient and more affordable."

The launch marks the next phase of a broader transformation at FSBO.com, following the company’s focus on simplifying how homeowners create and market listings. The next phase will focus on what happens from contract to close, with the development of additional technology and infrastructure designed to connect the services, vendors, financing resources, and transaction support required to move a home sale from an accepted agreement through closing.

"Consumers should not have to understand every piece of an incredibly fragmented real estate ecosystem just to successfully complete a transaction," said Jonathon Haddad, CEO of bevri.ai, a partner in the project. "The opportunity is to use technology to intelligently connect each step of the process while still allowing the right professionals to participate where they add value. Simplifying that ecosystem can create a better experience for consumers while helping to remove unnecessary costs and inefficiencies along the way."

The PACT™ beta will initially be released to the FSBO.com community for real-world testing and feedback. The company will use this feedback to refine the experience ahead of its broader final release. For Kortas and Rice, the ultimate opportunity extends beyond FSBO transactions alone.

"PACT™ can eventually live far beyond FSBO.com," Kortas said. "Whether someone is represented by an agent or not, there should be a simple, transparent way to make an offer on a property and negotiate it digitally. If we can remove unnecessary work, reduce mistakes, streamline the transaction, and ultimately lower the cost of buying or selling a home, that is meaningful innovation."

With PACT™, FSBO.com continues moving toward a larger vision: creating a more connected digital experience that helps consumers list and market a home, move from offer to agreement, and ultimately progress from contract to close, while eliminating unnecessary friction, inefficiency, and cost from the real estate transaction.
