BERLIN, Frore Systems and Lenovo have unveiled the world’s first ultra-slim, ultra-quiet notebook at the Lenovo Innovation World '26 event in Berlin. This innovative device, powered by Lenovo's Active Flow thermal solution and Frore Systems' AirJet® solid-state active cooling, marks a significant milestone in the tech industry.

The new Lenovo AeroBlade concept notebook is a testament to the collaboration between the two leading companies. Designed to be both thinner and lighter, the notebook also boasts unprecedented quietness, making it a standout in the high-performance computing market. AirJet® Mini, a key component in this collaboration, has been specifically designed to address the thermal challenges posed by the evolution of AI reasoning models. As these models transition from simple inference to more complex reasoning tasks, they generate significantly higher thermal loads. AirJet® Mini enables processors to maintain higher performance levels without throttling, aligning with Frore's Law, which aims to double thermal performance every two years to keep pace with AI compute demands.

Technical highlights of AirJet® Mini include:

- Heat Dissipation: 7.5 W (a 50% increase over AirJet Mini G1) - Dimensions: 27mm × 41.5mm × 2.65 mm, ideal for ultra-compact designs - Back Pressure: 2,000 Pa (approximately 10 times higher than a fan), making it suitable for dustproof and water-resistant devices - Noise Level: 21 dBA, ensuring silent operation - Design: Solid-state with no moving mechanical parts, offering long-lasting performance

AirJet® Mini works by generating high-velocity pulsating air jets that efficiently remove heat from compact enclosures. This technology is not limited to notebooks; it can enhance performance across various devices, including tablets, smartphones, 5G WiFi hotspots, cameras, and IoT devices.

The Lenovo AeroBlade concept notebook, equipped with these advanced cooling solutions, will be on display at the Lenovo Innovation World '26 event on September 3, 2026, in Berlin.
