Vancouver, British Columbia, Fox Tungsten Ltd. (TSXV: FOXT; OTC Pink: FOXTF) has received necessary authorizations for a new access trail through a Wildlife Habitat Area (WHA) to its Fox Tungsten Project in south-central British Columbia. The project has also secured mining and critical minerals permits, extending its Multi-Year Area Based (MYAB) permit through March 31, 2031.
The new trail, expected to cost around C$300,000 over five years, is aimed at enhancing personnel, equipment, and supply access, improving operational efficiency, and reducing reliance on helicopter support. Fox Tungsten has committed to supporting a regional caribou monitoring program, contributing the required funds to the initiative.
"Receiving these authorizations is a key milestone for the Fox Project," said Steve Gray, President and CEO of Fox Tungsten. "The new trail will significantly improve safety and operational efficiency, and we are committed to responsible project development and supporting caribou conservation efforts."
Fox Tungsten's ongoing 20,000-meter exploration program is progressing well, with initial assay results expected soon. The company plans to use the data to support resource expansion and further exploration of the Fox Project, aiming to complete an updated mineral resource estimate and Preliminary Economic Assessment in 2027.
The Fox Tungsten Project, located approximately 75 kilometers northeast of 100 Mile House, hosts one of the highest-grade tungsten resources in the western world. The property benefits from excellent infrastructure access and hosts a large-scale tungsten mineral system extending 12 kilometers by 5 kilometers, with multiple high-grade zones occurring in a near-surface setting. The current NI 43-101 Mineral Resource Estimate includes 582,400 tonnes grading 0.826% WO₃ (Indicated) and 565,000 tonnes grading 1.231% WO₃ (Inferred).
Fox Tungsten remains committed to responsible mineral resource development and building long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with Indigenous communities and local stakeholders in the territories where it operates.
The company’s next steps include advancing the project through additional drilling and engineering activities, with an ongoing 20,000-meter drill program designed to significantly expand the current Mineral Resource and support an updated Mineral Resource Estimate and Preliminary Economic Assessment targeted for the second quarter of 2027.
