FOX News launches week-long 9/11 anniversary programming

NEW YORK, Sept. 3, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, FOX News Media is launching a series of special programs across its various platforms. The network will present a week-long series of events and interviews, both live and pre-recorded, to honor those affected by the tragedy.
On Friday, September 11, FOX & Friends will broadcast live from multiple locations, including the Hyatt House in Jersey City, offering a panoramic view of New York City. Steve Doocy, who was on air during the attacks, will host "Breakfast with Friends" from O'Hara’s Pub in downtown Manhattan, just a short distance from Ground Zero. Doocy will travel to Washington, D.C., to interview Frank Siller, chairman and CEO of the Tunnels to Towers Foundation, as part of the Steel Across America tour. His schedule also includes a live report from Shanksville, Pennsylvania, the site of the crash of United Airlines Flight 93.
Throughout the week, FOX News Channel’s America's Newsroom will feature segments from Bill Hemmer and Dana Perino, who will broadcast from Brookfield Place in downtown Manhattan. The program will include a live reading of the names of the victims from the National September 11 Memorial & Museum. From September 7 to 11, several FOX News programs will air special segments and interviews with guests including 9/11 survivors, families of the victims, military officials, and founders of 9/11-related foundations.
FOX Nation will debut two new specials: "Notes from Ground Zero" on September 4, focusing on the experiences of Paul Mauro, a former NYPD Inspector who was working on the morning of the attacks. The special will also feature never-before-seen photos and video. "Born on 9/11: 25 Years" will premiere on September 8, exploring the lives of those born on September 11, 2001, and the impact they have had on the nation.
FOX Business Network's Liz Claman will interview the Lutnick brothers, founders of Cantor Fitzgerald, on September 10, marking the 658 employees lost in the attacks. Claman will also speak with Larry Silverstein, founder of Silverstein Properties, and former officials Jon Corzine and Bill Harrison.
FOX News Digital will provide live coverage from Ground Zero, the Pentagon, and Shanksville, including interviews with Elizabeth L. Hillman, president and CEO of the National September 11 Memorial & Museum, and former Navy SEAL Robert O'Neill. The platform will publish multiple retrospective and feature stories, as well as policy and political coverage, examining the evolution of homeland security.
FOX News Audio will offer extensive coverage on September 11, with updates from FOX News Headlines 24/7 on Sirius XM and interviews on FOX News Radio. The Brian Kilmeade Show and other shows will feature guests impacted by the attacks, while FOX News Podcasts will release a week of special content, including the premiere of an eight-part documentary series, "FOX News Rewind: 9/11," examining the events leading up to and following the attacks.
