Foursided Hosts Art Shows and Book Signing in September

Foursided, a local Chicago gift shop, is hosting a variety of events in September, including a book signing, art shows, and participation in arts festivals.
On September 12, Foursided will host a book signing event at their Andersonville location (5061 N. Clark St.). The event will feature author Bill Crisafi, whose new book, "The Glam Reaper’s Guide To Slaying," offers a humorous take on self-help from the perspective of the grim reaper and her friends. Guests are encouraged to purchase the book directly from Foursided, where Crisafi will be available to sign copies.
In the second half of September, Foursided will open its second annual Mini Art Show. Local artists were invited to submit original, one-of-a-kind art pieces no larger than 6x8 inches, which will be displayed at Foursided’s Lakeview and Andersonville locations. The opening reception for the Lakeview location will be held on September 11 from 6 to 8 pm, and the Andersonville reception will take place on September 25, also between 6 and 8 pm. Over 100 artists will be represented across the two locations, and the artwork will be available for purchase on-site.
Foursided will participate in the Lakeview Festival of the Arts, which runs from September 19 to 20. The festival, held on Broadway between Belmont and Hawthorne, will be open daily from 11 am to 7 pm. At their booth, Foursided will offer custom framing and other items, including shadowboxes with customizable anagram tiles and laser-cut state pieces that can be assembled on-site.
The Andersonville Arts Weekend will take place from September 25 to 27, featuring more than 30 businesses in Andersonville, each highlighting a different artist. Foursided will showcase the artworks of participating Mini Art Show artists. Additionally, Foursided will participate in the Fall Wine Walk on September 27. During this event, guests can taste wines at various shops and businesses throughout the neighborhood, with Foursided as part of the "Off the Vine" route.
