Fortrea Grants Inducement Awards to Newly Hired Employees

DURHAM, N.C., Sept. 10, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Fortrea, a leading global contract research organization (CRO), has announced the granting of inducement awards to five newly hired employees, including the company’s recently appointed Chief Financial Officer, Jason Knoblauch.

The inducement awards consist of performance share units (PSUs) and restricted stock units (RSUs). Specifically, Knoblauch received 106,755 PSUs and 144,434 RSUs. The PSUs will vest if certain performance goals are met over a three-year period, while the RSUs will vest in three equal annual installments from the grant date, subject to Knoblauch’s continuous employment.

The remaining inducement awards included 157,500 RSUs granted to other new hires, which will also vest in three equal annual installments, contingent upon their ongoing employment with the company.

These awards were granted under Nasdaq Listing Rule 5635(c)(4) and were previously approved by the independent members of Fortrea’s Board of Directors. The inducement awards are intended to support the integration of new talent into the company and align the interests of the newly hired employees with those of the company’s shareholders.
