SAO PAULO, BRAZIL, October 6, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- FLOLIVE® and Skylo have partnered to extend reliable Internet of Things (IoT) communications across Brazil, leveraging both cellular and satellite connectivity to cover both rural and urban regions. This integrated service, unveiled at Futurecom, the leading telecommunications summit for Latin America, aims to provide businesses with a robust and resilient solution for critical IoT applications.
FLOLIVE® delivers multi-network cellular connectivity in Brazil across two national cellular services. By integrating Skylo's non-terrestrial network (NTN) service, the combined offering enables IoT devices to connect seamlessly through cellular networks where available and switch to satellite connectivity in areas with poor or no cellular coverage. This partnership is being rolled out through Flolive's Brazilian partners, iuh! Digital and NLT, to support a wide range of use cases, including agriculture, logistics, utilities, industrial operations, and transportation.
Bill Wark, senior vice president of the Americas at FLOLIVE®, emphasized the significance of this partnership for Brazil.
Flolive's carrier-grade distributed core network and over 70 local points of presence ensure low latency and network redundancy, while supporting national and regional compliance requirements across approximately 214 countries and regions. The integrated service will enable partners to deliver secure, low-latency connectivity and support local and regional compliance mandates.
Skylo Technologies, a global non-terrestrial network service provider, operates a standards-based NTN that is live across five continents and licensed in 41 countries. More than 20 mobile network operators route traffic across Skylo's network, and the capability ships in commercial chipsets and modules, ensuring IoT deployments reach satellite without the need for dedicated terminals or new hardware.
This partnership is expected to significantly enhance the reach and reliability of IoT services in Brazil, supporting various mission-critical applications. The combined service will provide a powerful foundation for nationwide IoT deployments, ensuring that devices and operations remain connected even in areas where terrestrial coverage is limited or unavailable.
