CHICAGO, Oct. 19, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Brad Fishman, CEO of Fishman Public Relations, has been elected to the International Franchise Association (IFA) Board of Directors, marking his return to a national leadership role with the top organization representing franchise businesses around the world. Fishman's initial three-year term will begin at the 2027 IFA Annual Convention in Las Vegas, February 22-24.
Fishman's election to the IFA Board of Directors is a significant move for both the association and his company. As a supplier representative, Fishman will bring a valued perspective shaped by his work at Fishman Public Relations and his longstanding involvement in the association. He is one of three newly elected supplier members, representing the businesses that support franchise systems.
Fishman's return to the IFA board comes as Fishman Public Relations celebrates its 35th anniversary. Since its founding in 1991, the agency has worked with hundreds of franchise systems, helping them reach prospective business owners, attract customers, and strengthen their reputations. Over his 35+ years as CEO and co-founder, Fishman has worked alongside franchise leaders to build brand awareness, communicate their franchise opportunities, and share the stories of the entrepreneurs behind their growth.
Fishman's association involvement includes service on IFA's Membership Committee, as well as his previous roles as a board member and chair of the Supplier Forum. His experience spans across franchise communications, financing, development, and supplier support, including his roles as co-founder of Franchise Elevator PR and investor/partner with Rev PR.
As a supplier representative, Fishman will help guide IFA's strategic priorities, focusing on advocacy, education, and member engagement. He will work alongside franchisor, franchisee, and supplier leaders to strengthen franchising and expand opportunities for business ownership.

In September, Fishman PR earned the No. 1 position in the Public Relations category of Entrepreneur magazine's Top Franchise Suppliers ranking for the ninth consecutive year. The ranking is based on feedback from franchisors evaluating the quality, cost, and value of their suppliers' services.
The incoming directors represent a range of industries and business disciplines, reflecting the diversity of franchising and IFA's membership. More than 832,000 franchise businesses operate in the United States, employing nearly 9 million people and generating more than $900 billion in economic output across more than 300 industries.
