First Hydrogen Corp. has entered into a significant agreement to acquire a 60% stake in Exodus Actuation Solutions Inc., a company specializing in advanced robotics and actuation technologies. The move marks an important step for First Hydrogen as it aims to expand its capabilities into the rapidly growing humanoid robotics market.
Exodus Actuation Solutions, known as RoboticsCo, holds a robust portfolio of 26 issued patents and 10 pending patents focused on advanced actuation, gearbox, and motor technologies. These innovations are designed to enhance the performance and efficiency of robotic systems, particularly in applications such as humanoid and industrial robotics, collaborative robots, and automated manufacturing.
The technologies developed by RoboticsCo have been extensively tested and have achieved positive results in various industries. The company has manufactured and shipped over 500 motors and gearboxes, receiving favorable feedback from customers for their improved performance and ability to enable new robotic applications. The agreement with First Hydrogen is expected to accelerate the development and commercialization of these advanced technologies.
First Hydrogen will acquire the stake by issuing two million common shares and financing $2 million in stages, subject to mutually agreed budgets. The deal is subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange. Additionally, First Hydrogen will pay a finder's and consulting fee to a third party, in line with TSX Venture Exchange policies.
Building on this strategic investment, First Hydrogen has announced the launch of its wholly owned subsidiary, First Humanoid Corp., dedicated to advancing artificial intelligence, autonomous systems, and next-generation humanoid and intelligent robotic technologies. First Humanoid will serve as the platform to develop and commercialize intellectual property and technologies related to humanoid robotics, autonomous systems, and AI-enabled technologies.

According to RBC Capital Markets, the global humanoid robotics market is poised for substantial growth, with an estimated value of approximately $9 trillion by 2050. This market expansion is driven by the adoption of humanoid robotics in various sectors, including households, agriculture, manufacturing, logistics, and retail.
By acquiring RoboticsCo, First Hydrogen aims to leverage the advanced actuation and robotics technologies to develop and commercialize humanoid robotics solutions.
