Fidji Simo Joins Nscale Board of Directors

Nscale, a full-stack AI cloud platform headquartered in London, has announced the appointment of Fidji Simo to its Board of Directors. Simo, who previously served as the CEO of AGI Deployment at OpenAI, brings extensive experience in product leadership and scaling technology companies to the board.

Simo’s appointment follows the addition of Sheryl Sandberg, Susan Decker, and Nick Clegg to the Nscale Board earlier this year. Simo’s background includes leading the business and product teams at OpenAI, responsible for bringing the company’s research to users. Prior to OpenAI, she was CEO and Chair of Instacart, leading the company to profitability and through its public listing in 2023. Her experience also spans a decade at Meta, where she served as Head of the Facebook App, overseeing News Feed, Video, Groups, Marketplace, and Ads, and earlier led the company’s mobile advertising products. Simo began her career at eBay.

Nscale, founded in 2024, designs, builds, and operates AI data centers and delivers GPU cloud services to AI labs and enterprises. The company is currently developing campuses in Norway and the United States. Simo’s expertise will be crucial as Nscale continues to scale its infrastructure to power the next generation of AI.
