FHLBank Indianapolis Names New Leadership Team

INDIANAPOLIS, Sept. 28, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- The Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis (FHLBank Indianapolis) has announced significant leadership changes aimed at aligning key functions with the bank's strategic priorities and member-focused mission. These changes, effective immediately, are designed to enhance accountability and coordination within the organization.

Brendan W. McGrath, President and CEO of FHLBank Indianapolis, emphasized the importance of adaptability and listening to the evolving needs of members.

Among the key leadership appointments, Chad A. Brandt has been named Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, taking on responsibilities previously held by the Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer. Brandt will oversee treasury, investments, accounting, asset-liability management, and other core financial functions.

Kristina L. Cunningham has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Chief Risk and Compliance Officer, from her previous role as Senior Vice President, Chief Risk and Compliance Officer. Cunningham’s new responsibilities include all aspects of information security, in addition to her existing roles.

Jonathan W. Griffin has been named Executive Vice President, Chief Banking Officer, from his previous position as Senior Vice President, Chief Business Development Officer. Griffin will now oversee business development, member outreach and communication, member-facing operations, the Mortgage Purchase Program, member credit risk, and technology solutions supporting Bank operations and member experience through product delivery.

John D. Bingham has been appointed Senior Vice President, Banking Operations, from his previous roles as Senior Vice President, Mortgage Purchase Program and Corporate Communications. Bingham will be responsible for the Bank’s mortgage purchase program, collateral operations, and correspondent services.

Stephanie L. Lesnet, as Senior Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer, will add financial systems engineering and facilities management to her previous responsibilities related to accounting and vendor management.

Jeffrey D. Mills has been named Senior Vice President, Chief Legal, Corporate and Community Affairs Officer, from his previous role as Senior Vice President, General Counsel. Mills will bring together the Bank’s legal and governance, government relations, corporate communications, and community investments functions.

Gurdeepak Singh has been appointed Chief Technology Officer, from his previous position as Senior Director of Engineering and Architecture. Singh will be responsible for the Bank’s information technology and data excellence programs, leading IT engineering, IT infrastructure, and IT governance.

The mission of FHLBank Indianapolis remains unchanged: to provide reliable liquidity and support affordable housing and community development throughout Indiana and Michigan.
