Eyemart Express opens first Houston store in Conroe

National optical retailer Eyemart Express is bringing its same-day, affordable eyewear to the Greater Houston market, opening its first store in Conroe on September 8. The store, located at 1302 W. Davis St., is the first of four planned locations in the area by the end of the year.

Eyemart Express, known for its transparent pricing and quick service, is expanding its presence in Texas, where it already operates 42 stores. The company aims to provide Houston-area residents with a convenient and cost-effective option for prescription eyewear. Each store will be staffed with a team of opticians, lab technicians, and retail associates. The Conroe location will serve as a one-stop shop for eye care, offering both eye exams and finished prescription glasses. Customers can choose from over 2,000 frames, ranging from popular designer lines like Versace and Nike to budget-friendly options for kids.

One of the key selling points of Eyemart Express is its on-site lens lab, which allows customers to receive their custom-made glasses within an hour. This service is particularly appealing to busy Houstonians who can walk out with their new glasses on the same day they purchase them, rather than waiting a week or more for delivery.

Customers can schedule an eye exam with Dr. Maurice Wilson of Wilson Vision Associates, whose office is located in the store, or bring in an existing prescription.
