BRATISLAVA, Slovakia, Sept. 15, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- As part of its promotional campaign, the event will present Serbia as a travel and investment destination to key European markets, including Slovakia.
On September 17, 2026, Serbia will host a B2B networking event in Bratislava, Slovakia, titled "Visit Serbia." The event will take place at Incheba, located at Viedenská cesta 3-7, 851 01 Bratislava. The goal is to create opportunities for cross-border partnerships and cooperation, with a focus on business opportunities and targeted meetings.
Igor Kovačević, Executive Director of EXPO 2027 Belgrade, and Lukáš Parízek, Slovakia's Commissioner General for EXPO 2027 Belgrade, will address representatives of the Slovak tourism industry and business community. The programme will include delegation visits and a digital platform connecting companies to facilitate business interactions.
The event is co-organized by Slovakia Travel, #GoBelgrade, and ATIS. According to the Slovak Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, bilateral trade between Serbia and Slovakia reached approximately EUR 1.3 billion in 2025, marking a 15 percent increase from the previous year. This makes Serbia Slovakia's most important Western Balkan trading partner. Additionally, Slovakia was the first country to sign a Participation Contract for EXPO 2027 Belgrade.
The "Visit Serbia" campaign is part of a broader strategy to showcase Serbia's tourism and business opportunities ahead of the Expo's opening. EXPO 2027 Belgrade is a Specialised Exhibition that will feature more than 135 countries, highlighting the themes of sport and music for all. The event aims to bring together diverse cultures and promote global unity through these universal languages.
Serbia and Slovakia's growing economic ties are evident in their trade figures and the early participation in EXPO 2027 Belgrade. The B2B networking event in Bratislava is expected to strengthen these relationships and open new avenues for collaboration between the two countries.
