NEW YORK, Oct. 17, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- On August 24, a sold-out charity Pro-Am tennis event was held at Columbia University's Milstein Family Tennis Center, bringing together more than 200 family office leaders, venture capital investors, sports icons, and community leaders. The event, organized by Expert DOJO, a global venture capital and emerging markets investor, and the Harlem Junior Tennis & Education Program (HJTEP), aimed to connect high-level financial investors with community impact initiatives.

More than 200 guests competed alongside Grand Slam champions Bob and Mike Bryan, former World No. 2 Tommy Haas, and former World No. 3 Milos Raonic. The tournament featured competitive round-robin Pro-Am play, transitioning into an evening reception and fireside chat. Former USTA President and WTA Doubles Champion Katrina Adams shared insights on leadership, peak performance, and resilience with Milos Raonic.

The event raised over $150,000 to support HJTEP's mission to empower underserved youth in Harlem through tennis, education, and wellness programs. HJTEP, founded in 1972, has served over 1,200 youth between the ages of 5-18 from underserved neighborhoods in Harlem and New York City. The organization integrates tennis instruction with academic support and wellness programs, with 100% of HJTEP student-athletes graduating high school and 90% matriculating to college with academic and tennis scholarships collectively aggregated at over $1 million annually.

The Family Office & Investor Open, presented by Ladrion Therapeutics, was a collaboration between Expert DOJO and HJTEP. The event featured a diverse lineup of sponsors, including CVC Capital Partners, Quiet Harbor, Moonlight Graham Palm Beach, RBC Wealth Management, The LSS Group, Brex, Invictus Growth Partners, F6 Partners, AETERNA Capital, RIA Eyewear, JetAccess, Nightrush.Ai, ISDIN, RDK Melanoma Foundation, SkyPop Protein Soda, 30Forever, Criss Cross, Wilson Sporting Goods Co., Blind Tiger, Servantec Global, Golden Bay Distillery, Akoto Recruiting, and Peluva.

Following the success of the event, Expert DOJO and HJTEP announced plans to scale the tournament into an expanded annual pre-US Open fixture. The event not only provided a platform for financial investors to connect with community initiatives but also highlighted the intersection of sports and social impact. The partnership between Expert DOJO and HJTEP exemplifies the growing trend of corporate social responsibility and the integration of philanthropy into business strategies.

The Family Office & Investor Open showcased the potential for high-level financial networks to support community programs, fostering a collaborative environment where financial expertise meets social impact.
