EVB's BUDC charger wins iF and Red Dot Awards

WENZHOU, China, Sept. 2, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- EVB, a provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, has received significant recognition for its BUDC ultra-slim dual-connector DC EV charger, which has won both the iF DESIGN AWARD 2026 and the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2026. The BUDC, with a 150 kW output and a compact body thickness of about 100 mm, addresses the common challenge of installing high-power charging equipment in spaces that are limited.

Designed to fit in urban streets, parking facilities, bus depots, truck depots, and fleet sites, the BUDC can be configured with dual CCS2 connectors and features an IP65-rated enclosure for outdoor installations. A single connector can deliver up to 150 kW, and the system intelligently allocates power when two vehicles are charging simultaneously. Additionally, its liquid-cooling system and independently replaceable AC, DC, and control modules simplify maintenance and ensure reliable operation.
