EV Minerals Corporation, a Canadian exploration company, has announced it will change its name to Three Points Copper Inc. and consolidate its common shares. The changes, approved by shareholders at a December 30, 2025, meeting, are set to take effect on September 18, 2026.
Under the new name, the company will focus on copper exploration and development. The consolidation will reduce the number of outstanding common shares from approximately 112,796,916 to 18,799,486. Shareholders will receive one post-consolidation common share for every six pre-consolidation shares. No fractional shares will be issued, with any fractional shares rounded down to the nearest whole share.
The company has provided letters of transmittal to its registered shareholders, instructing them to send their share certificates and properly executed letters of transmittal to the registrar and transfer agent, Endeavor Trust Corporation. Shareholders holding shares through brokers, investment dealers, banks, or trust companies are advised to contact their nominees or intermediaries for assistance.
The consolidation is expected to have minimal impact on shareholders' percentage ownership, though the number of shares each holder owns will decrease.
EV Minerals Corporation, founded in 2010, has been involved in various mineral exploration projects across Canada. The name change and share consolidation are part of the company's ongoing efforts to streamline its operations and enhance its market presence.
