Eureka Metals Discovers Five New High-Grade Titanium Occurrences at Tyee Project

Eureka Metals Corp has announced the discovery of five new high-grade titanium occurrences at its Tyee Titanium Project in Québec, Canada. The findings, which come from the company's 2026 surface exploration program, significantly expand the company’s known high-grade titanium mineralization at the site.

The exploration program, managed by IOS Geosciences, identified these new occurrences, which returned samples with titanium oxide (TiO₂) grades ranging from 35.13% to 36.87%. Notably, these high-grade results were found in areas where high-grade titanium had not previously been identified, indicating a broader distribution of mineralization across the Tyee property.

Danny Matthews, CEO of Eureka Metals Corp, stated, “We didn't just reproduce the high titanium grades previously found at Tyee; we found them at five new occurrences. We now have high-grade titanium results across a much broader area of the project.”

The nine samples that exceeded 35% TiO₂ also returned consistent vanadium values ranging from 0.26% to 0.30% vanadium oxide (V₂O₅). These results are particularly significant as they highlight the potential for additional valuable minerals in the area. The company is now comparing these new high-grade occurrences with the results of its recently completed high-resolution airborne magnetic and EM-VLF survey to prioritize areas for further exploration.

“This work will evaluate whether the newly identified surface occurrences correspond with geophysical targets and help determine where we should focus our next phase of exploration,” said Matthews.

The Tyee Titanium Project is located within the Havre-Saint-Pierre Anorthosite Complex on Québec's North Shore. This region is known for hosting the producing Lac Tio ilmenite mine, operated by Rio Tinto, approximately 65 kilometers south of Tyee. Historical studies of Lac Tio report titanium grades ranging from 32% to 38% TiO₂, providing a useful context for Eureka's 2026 results, which reached up to 36.87% TiO₂.

The 2026 exploration program included the identification of six new massive ilmenite occurrences. Of these, five returned samples grading more than 35% TiO₂. Previous exploration had established high-grade titanium mineralization at several principal areas, including Big Tio, NS Trend, and East Nugget. The new results demonstrate that high-grade titanium mineralization is not limited to these previously identified areas, suggesting a broader potential for mineralization.

Quality assurance and control measures were rigorously followed. Rock samples were collected using a hammer and chisel, placed in plastic bags, and identified using IOS' standard procedures. Samples were submitted to Actlabs for analysis, ensuring accurate and reliable results.

With the addition of these new high-grade occurrences, Eureka Metals Corp is well-positioned to advance its exploration efforts and potentially unlock significant value at the Tyee Titanium Project. The company’s next steps will involve integrating these results with the airborne geophysical data to prioritize exploration targets.
