EquityMultiple, a digital platform for accredited commercial real estate investing, has entered into a significant partnership with Larson Financial Holdings, a St. Louis-based wealth management and financial services firm. Under the agreement, Larson Capital Management, Larson's $2.5 billion real estate and alternative investment arm, will become the day-to-day operator of the EquityMultiple platform, effectively integrating institutional-scale investment management with EquityMultiple's technology-driven community of more than 64,000 accredited investors.
The partnership was announced on September 17, 2026, marking a strategic move by EquityMultiple to enhance its service offerings and meet the evolving needs of its investor base. According to Charles Clinton, CEO of EquityMultiple, the decision was driven by feedback from investors who expressed a desire for a more direct connection to the sponsors behind their investments. Larson Financial Holdings has been a familiar face to the EquityMultiple community, having sponsored multiple investments on the platform over the past five years. This partnership aims to bridge the gap between institutional-scale investments and the broader investor community.
Larson Capital Management will now be responsible for sourcing, underwriting, and managing new investment opportunities, providing a more direct and transparent experience for EquityMultiple's investors.
The terms of the license agreement were not disclosed, but EquityMultiple assured its investors that the transition would be seamless. Existing investments and investor accounts will remain unchanged, with no immediate impact on the terms, fees, distributions, or tax reporting of existing investments. Investors are not required to take any action with respect to their existing investments or accounts.
EquityMultiple will continue to operate under its own brand, with Charles Clinton continuing to lead the company as CEO. Henry Kwong, who leads the asset management arm of EquityMultiple, will continue to manage and service existing investments. The first investment offerings sponsored and managed by Larson Capital Management are expected to become available on the EquityMultiple platform over the coming weeks.
To address investor concerns and provide further details, EquityMultiple will host a live webinar on September 25 at 4 p.m. CT. Clinton and Paul Larson will walk through the transition, address existing investments, and take audience questions. Investors can register for the webinar online.
