INDIAN WELLS, CA, September 23, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- The Epson Tour Championship is set to return to Indian Wells Golf Resort for the third consecutive year, taking place from September 28 to October 4, 2026. This event marks the season-ending showcase for the Epson Tour, with the top 15 finishers on the Race for the Card standings securing their LPGA Tour cards for the 2027 season.
This year, the tournament format sees a significant change, with the field being limited to the top 80 players on the Race for the Card standings. Additionally, the 72-hole championship will feature a no-cut format, meaning all players will compete for the entire duration of the event. The total purse for the championship is set at $250,000, with the winner earning a record-breaking $100,000, a first in the 46-year history of the tour.
The Epson Tour, now in its 46th competitive season, has grown significantly over the years. In 2025, the tour hosted 20 events and awarded $5 million in prize money, up from just 15 tournaments and $1.6 million in prize money a decade ago. Over 400 LPGA Tour titles have been won by Epson Tour alumni, including more than 50 major championships.
