EPC, the leader in enhancement mode gallium nitride (eGaN®) based power management, is set to showcase its latest advancements in GaN solutions at the Electronica 2026 trade fair in Munich, Germany, from November 10 to 13. Visitors can explore EPC’s cutting-edge technology at Hall C6, Booth 221.
The company will focus on demonstrating how GaN is revolutionizing the power infrastructure for emerging applications, particularly in artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, space electronics, and autonomous machines. EPC will present a range of solutions that span the power-delivery chain, from 800 VDC distribution to point-of-load conversion. Notable among these are the EPC91123 6 kW 800 V-to-12.5 V ISOP LLC converter and a new 6 kW 800 V-to-6 V converter, designed to bring high-voltage power closer to next-generation AI processors.
Gen8 GaN power-stage technology will also be highlighted, targeting ultra-high-frequency, low-voltage conversion and direct conversion from approximately 6.25 V to sub-1 V processor rails at multi-megahertz frequencies. EPC will showcase integrated GaN solutions for humanoid robots, drones, and other intelligent motion systems. The EPC33110 100 V three-phase integrated ePower™ Stage IC enables compact, high-performance motor drives, while the new EPC33111, shown in preview, aims to further miniaturize these solutions for space-constrained applications. Multiple motor-drive reference designs based on EPC33110 and the latest Gen7 GaN devices will be demonstrated.
In the realm of space electronics, EPC Space will exhibit radiation-hardened GaN technology for DC-DC converters, point-of-load (POL) applications, and space computing. Key devices on display include the EPC7011, EPC7009, and radiation-tolerant EPC7050PCSH, EPC7066PCSH, and EPC7065PCSH devices.
Visitors to the booth can engage with EPC’s technical experts to discuss GaN solutions for their next-generation designs. EPC will host a series of live technical sessions at their booth, featuring EPC experts and covering the latest developments in GaN technology and its applications.
The sessions include: - Nov. 10, 2:00-2:30 p.m. “Where is GaN Going?” - Alex Lidow, CEO, EPC - Nov. 11, 11-11.30 a.m.
EPC’s commitment to advancing the field of power electronics through GaN technology is evident in its diverse range of applications and innovative solutions. The company’s presence at Electronica 2026 underscores its ongoing efforts to drive technological progress in AI, robotics, space, and autonomous machines.
