SAN JOSE, Calif., Sept. 09, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Ensurge Micropower ASA has announced its relocation to a new facility in San Jose, California, marking a significant step in the company’s development of solid-state lithium microbatteries. The move to the 32,000-square-foot Baytech Drive facility is designed to enhance the company’s capabilities in battery-focused operations and accelerate its technological advancements.

The new location, at 130 Baytech Drive, is purpose-built to support Ensurge’s transition to a product-led operating model. The company aims to improve process discipline, quality control, and reproducibility, which are essential for the commercialization of its innovative solid-state microbatteries. The relocation also provides a state-of-the-art environment for customers, partners, and stakeholders across various markets, including med-tech, consumer electronics, IoT, and defense.

Under the transition plan, Ensurge will gain access to the Baytech Drive facility starting October 1, 2026, while retaining a defined process area at its current Junction Avenue site through year-end to maintain continuous operations. Equipment and workflows will be transferred and qualified during this period to ensure a smooth transition.
