ORLANDO, Fla., Sep 15, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- EnergyCAP, the leading utility and energy management platform for public and private sector organizations, has introduced a new feature called Insights to its platform. This new capability aims to streamline reporting, alerting, and prioritization, enabling energy teams to focus on the most critical issues.
The launch of Insights follows the release of EnergyCAP Watts AI and Watts Chat earlier this year. These tools are built on advanced AI technology, allowing users to better understand their data and quickly identify pressing concerns. The new Insights feature integrates these capabilities, providing a comprehensive solution for energy management.
According to Shawn Lankton, CEO of EnergyCAP, the company's 20th annual Catalyst Converge conference, held in Orlando, Florida, marked a significant milestone. The event, which brings together energy, facilities, finance, and sustainability teams, celebrated two decades of innovation and collaboration. This year's theme, "Converge," reflects the evolving landscape of energy management, where data, teams, and technology are coming together to address complex challenges.
EnergyCAP's latest product innovation is part of a broader investment in AI and automation across the platform. In Bill Capture, new technology has improved processing speed and accuracy, reducing manual work and exceptions. These advancements are designed to strengthen existing workflows and provide users with faster and more accurate data.
The company recently released its 2026 Value of EnergyCAP report, based on responses from customers across various industries. The report revealed that more than 90% of customers reported that EnergyCAP met or exceeded their return on investment (ROI) expectations. Additionally, one in four customers had their expectations exceeded, and they reported receiving three times more value from EnergyCAP than they paid for it.
Melanie Stewart, a Senior Sustainability and Energy Consultant at IMEG, shared her experience with the new features. "We've started creating reports around the questions we're trying to answer, with the flexibility to refine and reuse them as our needs change. Even from our early experience, we're excited about the value Watts Reports could bring to our team," she said.
EnergyCAP's Insights feature includes Watts Reports, Watts Alerts, and the Signals dashboard. Watts Reports allows users to quickly build custom reports, simplify complex data, and share the output. Watts Alerts enable users to define what matters to them and choose how they want to be notified when specific conditions occur. The Signals dashboard brings key issues and priorities into one place, ranked by impact, helping teams prioritize their focus.
The company's next Catalyst event is scheduled for September 20-22, 2027, in Austin, Texas. The program will feature a range of sessions, including founder and former CEO Steve Heinz, athletes and advocates for inclusion Kyle and Brent Pease, multiple learning tracks, and customer-led sessions.
