Emergence, a permanent-capital enterprise backed by The Pritzker Organization, has announced the acquisition of Clinect Healthcare, a Charlotte-based company that provides an Outcomes Intelligence Platform. The acquisition brings Clinect's Outcomes Intelligence Platform into Emergence's growing roster of healthcare technology investments, backed by the same long-term, patient-capital approach Emergence brings to each of its portfolio companies.
Clinect Healthcare, founded in 2012 and headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, offers an Outcomes Intelligence Platform that combines patient-reported outcomes, patient experience technology, and reputation management software. The platform captures and acts on more than 600 validated outcome measures across 20-plus practice management and EHR integrations. Clinect's platform helps healthcare organizations measure clinical outcomes, improve patient satisfaction, and strengthen their online reputation.
Under Emergence's ownership, Clinect will expand its investment in data science, AI, and interoperability, broadening its PM/EHR integrations and accelerating product development for health systems and specialty practices nationwide. Both companies share a long-term commitment to giving healthcare organizations the tools to measure and improve both financial and clinical performance.
Clinect Healthcare's platform, which integrates with more than 50 practice management and EHR systems, automates the collection of patient-reported outcomes within existing practice workflows. This allows providers to document treatment results, support quality reporting, and identify patients who may need additional attention without adding administrative burden to their teams. Clinect's Outcomes Intelligence Platform helps healthcare organizations meet rising quality-reporting requirements while giving clinical and administrative teams real-time visibility into how patients are doing and how they feel about their care.
The acquisition comes as medical practices face growing pressure to demonstrate the value of the care they deliver. As payer expectations and reimbursement models evolve, reliably measuring patient-reported outcomes is becoming an increasingly important business capability. Clinect's platform automates the collection of patient-reported outcomes within existing practice workflows, helping providers document treatment results, support quality reporting, and identify patients who may need additional attention, without adding administrative burden to their teams.
The acquisition of Clinect Healthcare by Emergence accelerates the development of AI-driven patient experience and outcomes intelligence, aligning with the growing emphasis on demonstrating the value of care and meeting evolving regulatory requirements. Clinect's Outcomes Intelligence Platform, with its extensive integration capabilities and validated outcome measures, will be central to Emergence's strategy to support healthcare organizations in this critical area.
