Electronic Imaging Materials, Inc. has expanded its FloorCode™ range of warehouse labels with the introduction of FloorCode™ Impact. This new product is designed to protect critical labels in high-traffic warehouses and facilities, ensuring they remain readable and scannable despite the constant movement of forklifts, pallets, and carts.

According to Cecilia Robinson, Senior Products and Innovation Specialist at EIM, the introduction of FloorCode™ Impact highlights the company’s commitment to serving its customers better.

FloorCode™ Impact is engineered to withstand the rigors of fast-moving warehouses. It features an aluminum floor label holder that protects barcode labels from scuffing, scraping, and surface abrasion. The holder is securely adhered to the floor with a high-strength industrial adhesive, ensuring it remains in place even in demanding environments. The gently sloped edges of the holder offer long-lasting protection from forklifts and pallet jacks.

Erin Temmen, Sales Manager at EIM, emphasized the benefits of FloorCode™ Impact.

The new product is an ideal solution for leased facilities and warehouses that are prohibited from drilling into their floors. FloorCode™ Impact uses a drill-free installation method, making it quick, easy, and cost-effective to incorporate. It is also well-suited for cold storage, freezers, and moisture-heavy environments, making it an optimal choice for applications like food and beverage, pharmaceutical, and agricultural storage warehouses.

FloorCode™ Impact joins FloorCode™ Streamline, which uses a rugged polycarbonate shield placed over labels to deliver durable, easy-to-install protection. While the protective methods differ, both products aim to ensure labels are legible and operations are efficient. FloorCode™ Streamline works in a wide range of temperatures and is easy to remove, providing adaptability to changing stock and workflows.

Robinson highlighted the company’s expertise in adhesives and its understanding of modern warehouse operations.

Since 1987, EIM has built its reputation by pairing deep technical expertise with personal, responsive customer support. The company creates custom, high-performance labeling solutions designed to face the toughest real-world challenges across industries, including healthcare, manufacturing, warehousing, and laboratory environments.
