TORONTO, Sept. 03, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Electra Battery Materials Corporation, a key player in North America’s critical minerals processing, is set to enhance its investor and industry engagement through a series of high-profile conferences in September. The company’s executive leadership team will participate in various events, offering insights into its ongoing projects and broader strategic goals.

At the H.C. Wainwright 28th Annual Global Investment Conference from September 14-16, Electra CFO Peter Rawlins and Vice President, External Affairs & Corporate Development Heather Smiles will meet with investors and industry participants. The discussions will focus on the company’s progress, capital markets priorities, and future plans for its North American critical minerals platform, including its Ontario cobalt sulfate refinery.

From September 22-25, Electra CEO Trent Mell and CFO Peter Rawlins will attend the Precious Metals Summit Beaver Creek, where they will engage with institutional investors, industry participants, and potential commercial partners. The meeting will delve into Electra’s progress in Ontario and its U.S. growth strategy, emphasizing the company’s vision to expand its critical minerals processing footprint and bolster North American supply chains.

In addition to these public engagements, Electra plans to participate in closed-door government and policy sessions focusing on critical minerals, supply-chain resilience, and opportunities to strengthen North American processing capacity. These forums will provide a platform for Electra to build relationships with investors, industry stakeholders, and policymakers, while advancing its goal of becoming a key North American processor of critical minerals.

The company’s primary focus remains on constructing North America’s only cobalt sulfate refinery as part of its phased strategy to onshore critical minerals refining and reduce reliance on foreign supply chains. Electra also holds a significant land package in Idaho’s Cobalt Belt, including its Iron Creek project, positioning it as a potential cornerstone for North American cobalt and copper production.

Electra is also exploring black mass recycling opportunities to recover critical materials from end-of-life batteries and evaluating growth opportunities in nickel refining and other downstream battery materials. These initiatives underscore the company’s commitment to diversifying its critical minerals processing capabilities and supporting the transition to a more sustainable energy future.
