Ekanos wins 2026 CloudX Award for Best Platform-as-a-Service
Ekanos, the AI-native platform developed by Vastly, has been named the winner of the 2026 CloudX Award for Best Platform-as-a-Service. This recognition, bestowed by DevNetwork’s independent Cloud Advisory Board, acknowledges Ekanos’s innovative approach to consolidating and enhancing an organization’s existing tools into AI-powered workspaces.
Ekanos operates by connecting an organization’s existing tools into unified, AI-powered workspaces, both for internal teams and external customers. The platform’s AI Conductor manages this process, surfacing intelligence and coordinating actions across the entire ecosystem. Businesses can launch their own branded platforms in a matter of weeks, leveraging Ekanos’s marketplace infrastructure.
The CloudX Awards are part of DevNetwork’s annual CloudX conference and expo, which focuses on cloud computing and infrastructure. This year, the awards were judged by an independent panel of industry veterans based on criteria including technical innovation, adoption and reception, press and media attention, cloud community recognition, and sector leadership. Ekanos will be honored at a VIP awards ceremony on September 1, 2026, in Santa Clara, California.
Eric Barash, CEO of Vastly, emphasized the significance of this recognition. "Being validated by DevNetwork's Cloud Advisory Board confirms the strategic vision we pursued from the outset. Ekanos is AI-native, not just AI-enhanced, and it transforms how organizations manage their existing software and tools."
Ekanos is built on a multi-agent AI architecture, designed to help mid-market and enterprise organizations transition from rules-based automation to goal-based orchestration. This approach consolidates fragmented tools, people, and data into branded workspaces, enabling quicker and more efficient operations. The platform’s zero-displacement integration model allows organizations to retain their existing systems and trained teams.
Barash further elaborated, "Think of Ekanos as the conductor of your orchestra, orchestrating the performance rather than just adding another instrument."
Jonathan Pasky, Executive Producer and Co-Founder of DevNetwork, highlighted the broader significance of this recognition. "The 2026 CloudX Award winners are pushing the boundaries of what's possible in cloud computing, infrastructure, platform engineering, and cloud-native technologies. Vastly's achievement reflects its substantial impact on the future of cloud innovation."
CloudX 2026, the event where the awards will be presented, will take place September 1-3, 2026, at the Santa Clara Convention Center. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore the latest advancements in cloud computing and infrastructure, including Vastly’s Ekanos platform.
