Einride Partners with NVIDIA to Accelerate Autonomous Trucking

STOCKHOLM, Sept. 21, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Einride, a technology company based in Stockholm, has announced a strategic collaboration with NVIDIA to accelerate the deployment of autonomous trucks in its freight network. Founded in 2016 and listed on the Nasdaq under the ticker ENRD, Einride is at the forefront of the transition to cost-efficient autonomous and electric freight operations for major shippers across North America, Europe, and the Middle East.

The partnership with NVIDIA will see Einride adapt the NVIDIA DRIVE Hyperion platform for heavy-duty trucking. This collaboration aims to extend the platform's compute, sensor, software, and safety architecture to meet the unique demands of heavy-duty freight. The goal is to build the next generation of the Einride Driver on the NVIDIA Hyperion platform, enabling the company to scale autonomous deployments across its existing freight network, which currently serves customers and operates hundreds of electric trucks.

This partnership is expected to significantly enhance the safety and efficiency of global freight operations, aligning with Einride's mission to drive the transition to sustainable and cost-efficient autonomous and electric freight.

Einride's current fleet of electric trucks, which includes autonomous vehicles already in operation, is anticipated to grow to between 1,500 and 2,000 vehicles by 2028. Approximately 80% of the demand for these vehicles is suitable for automation in the medium term, as the company continues to advance its autonomous technology. This expansion is based on customer demand captured on its platform, indicating a strong market appetite for autonomous and electric freight solutions.

NVIDIA will provide the underlying compute platform and AI development tools that support the autonomous-driving system. The collaboration will integrate the NVIDIA Halos safety system and use NVIDIA Cosmos and Blackwell infrastructure to accelerate the development and validation of autonomous-driving technology. Einride plans to deploy NVIDIA Blackwell architecture at scale with an NVIDIA Exemplar Cloud partner, a cloud provider whose infrastructure has been validated for large-scale AI training performance.

By leveraging the NVIDIA Hyperion platform, Einride aims to create a scalable foundation for safe, production-ready autonomous freight operations. This partnership is expected to streamline the development and validation of autonomous driving models, ensuring that the company can efficiently scale its operations across its growing freight network.
