Eightpoint Technologies Ltd. SEZC has announced its participation as a Programme Partner in the inaugural Launch Labs Incubator, a 14-week programme aimed at accelerating the growth of 18 ventures from Cayman and internationally. The initiative, running from September 1 through December 4, 2026, is designed to connect entrepreneurs with mentorship, expertise, and networks to strengthen their businesses and prepare for investment and scalability.
The programme, which will convene 18 ventures across technology, financial services, artificial intelligence, and other emerging industries, is a collaborative effort between Enterprise Cayman, a non-profit organization, and DMZ, a leading global startup incubator based in Toronto.
"As we have built and grown our business from Cayman, we recognize the importance of a robust and connected technology and entrepreneurial ecosystem," stated Thomas Redford, President of Eightpoint Technologies Ltd. SEZC. "Launch Labs provides a valuable platform for founders to access mentorship, expertise, and networks, which can transform promising ideas into scalable businesses. We are excited to support this initiative, which aligns with our commitment to fostering innovation and growth in the Cayman Islands."
Eightpoint Technologies, which has been operating within Cayman Enterprise City since 2018, is known for its experience in building and commercializing digital products across desktop and mobile interfaces. This experience makes it a valuable partner for Launch Labs, which focuses on helping entrepreneurs move from early-stage ideas to sustainable, scalable companies.
"We are pleased to have Eightpoint Technologies join our community as a Programme Partner," commented Charlie Kirkconnell, CEO of Cayman Enterprise City and Chairman of Enterprise Cayman. "Their international experience and commitment to the Cayman Islands bring a unique perspective to the programme, supporting our goal of strengthening the local innovation ecosystem."
Through Launch Labs, participating founders will benefit from a comprehensive programme including weekly workshops, structured milestones, dedicated mentorship, and activities focused on strategic foundations, go-to-market and sales, financial and growth strategy, and execution and investor readiness.
Eightpoint's involvement with Launch Labs extends its broader commitment to supporting the technology community in the Cayman Islands. "Eightpoint has long benefited from being part of the Cayman community, and we believe it is essential to give back by supporting initiatives that create opportunities for others," said Deniz Gezgin, CEO of Eightpoint. "By investing in local talent and fostering a strong technology ecosystem, we hope to contribute to the growth of Cayman's technology sector and provide pathways for local entrepreneurs to develop their skills and access meaningful career opportunities."
