eCential Robotics to join Enovis in Q4 2026

eCential Robotics, a leading developer of surgical robotics and enabling technologies, has secured a binding offer from Enovis Corporation, marking a significant expansion for both companies. The acquisition, expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026, aligns with Enovis' strategy to enhance its technology portfolio and accelerate innovation in robotic-assisted surgery.

Founded in 2011, eCential Robotics has pioneered a modular platform for computer-assisted surgery and orthopedic robotics. The company's Op.n® platform combines surgical navigation and active robotics, making it FDA 510(k)-cleared for spine surgery in the United States. This technology is poised to significantly impact the surgical landscape, improving precision and workflow efficiency.
