EagleOne Metals Corporation has announced significant changes to its executive management and board structure as the company pivots its focus to the uranium sector. Effective September 14, 2026, Shane Lowry has been appointed as the Interim Chief Executive Officer and a Director. Matthew Markin, who founded the company and has served as CEO since its inception, will transition to the role of Chief Financial Officer while continuing to serve as a Director.
The changes reflect EagleOne's strategic shift towards uranium, driven by the growing global interest in nuclear energy and the sector's increasing prominence in the United States. The company believes this move will help it strengthen its position and broaden its network of potential strategic, technical, and capital markets relationships.
Lowry, a capital markets executive with over 25 years of experience, has developed a particular focus on the uranium sector. His background includes roles such as Chief Corporate Development Officer, President, and CEO, as well as independent director positions. His experience in public and private company transactions, corporate governance, and capital formation is expected to be valuable as EagleOne evaluates opportunities in the sector.
Markin, who founded EagleOne and has been instrumental in guiding the company through its public listing and strategic development initiatives, will now focus on corporate finance, financial oversight, regulatory compliance, and investor relations. He expressed his enthusiasm for the new phase of the company's development, stating, "We are entering an important new phase for EagleOne. As we continue to advance our existing portfolio, we are also placing renewed strategic emphasis on uranium and the opportunities emerging within the sector."
Lowry, in his new role, will lead EagleOne's strategic growth initiatives, with a particular emphasis on evaluating uranium opportunities, identifying high-potential companies and assets, and developing relationships with experienced technical and operational professionals, strategic partners, and investors.
The company's renewed focus on uranium is part of a broader strategy to identify high-potential opportunities and develop the necessary expertise and capital markets support to advance them. The reconstituted Audit Committee now consists of Howard Blank, Robert Hall, and Shane Lowry, with Blank continuing to serve as Chair.
EagleOne Metals Corporation remains committed to creating long-term shareholder value through disciplined project evaluation, strategic acquisitions, and responsible exploration. The company's objective is to build on its existing public-market foundation while expanding its relationships and evaluating opportunities that can contribute to its long-term growth.
