e4health, a leading provider of mid-revenue cycle solutions for health systems, has launched a new on-demand coding service. The service is designed to offer health systems qualified coding coverage when they need it most, addressing gaps in their coding teams due to various unexpected circumstances.
The launch of On-Demand Coding Services comes just days before the AHIMA26 conference, where e4health will introduce the service at Booth #1040 in San Antonio, from October 4 to 6. This service was developed in direct response to customer feedback, addressing common issues such as coder leaves, open positions, volume spikes, and holiday and month-end crunches.
The new service is priced at a flat hourly rate with no subscription and no minimums, allowing clients to pay only for the hours they use. Each engagement follows a simple four-step process: the client describes the need, e4health matches a specialty-aligned coder, the coder deploys once system access and training are complete, and the client extends, redeploy, or scales as needs change. Engagements can run for weeks rather than months, with the option to grow into a longer partnership.
Michele Logue, RHIT, CCS, CDIP, Director of Coding Services at e4health, worked tirelessly with the team to stand up the new service line in time for the holidays and year-end, when health systems often face their most pressing coding coverage challenges.
On-Demand Coding Services complements e4health's existing domestic, blended, and offshore coding solutions, giving health systems a full spectrum of coverage models, from fully managed, long-term partnerships to short-term, as-needed support.
