DSM-Firmenich Completes €40 Million Share Repurchase for Compensation Plans

Kaiseraugst and Maastricht, September 8, 2026, DSM-Firmenich, the global innovator in nutrition, health, and beauty, has announced significant progress in its share repurchase program. The company commenced its share buyback initiative on March 12, 2026, with an aim to repurchase ordinary shares worth €540 million. This program is divided into two main components: €40 million to cover commitments under the Group’s share-based compensation plans and €500 million to reduce the company’s issued capital.

As of September 4, 2026, DSM-Firmenich has repurchased a total of 6,017,212 shares, an increase from 5,742,212 shares repurchased by the end of August 31, 2026. The shares were acquired at an average price of €71.69 per share, amounting to a total consideration of €431.4 million. The latest repurchase activity, which took place between August 31 and September 4, involved 275,000 shares at an average price of €94.52 per share, totaling €26.0 million.

The company informed the market that the repurchase of €40 million worth of shares to cover commitments under the Group’s share-based compensation plans was completed on March 23, 2026. The remaining €500 million share repurchase program to reduce the Group’s issued capital is targeted for completion by the end of the third quarter of 2026.
