DPM Metals Expands Brevene Porphyry South Discovery with High-Grade Intercepts

TORONTO, Sept. 20, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- DPM Metals Inc., a company listed on the TSX and ASX, has announced significant advancements in its Brevene Porphyry South gold-copper discovery, located in the southeastern part of the company's Brevene exploration licence. The discovery, contiguous with the Chelopech mine concession, has seen the company extend its mineralization with new high-grade intercepts.

The latest drilling results from EX_BRES_555_02A have extended the mineralization to 716.60 metres grading 3.30 grams per tonne (g/t) of gold equivalent (AuEq), comprising 1.63 g/t Au, 1.58% copper (Cu), and 17.09 g/t molybdenum (Mo) from 1,357 metres downhole. The interval includes a particularly high-grade section of 138.60 metres grading 5.71 g/t AuEq, with 2.83 g/t Au, 2.72% Cu, and 9.99 g/t Mo from 1,935 metres downhole.

In another significant drillhole, EX_BRESPO_03, the company has extended the mineralized intercept to 1,054 metres grading 2.49 g/t AuEq, comprising 1.20 g/t Au, 1.20% Cu, and 43.46 g/t Mo from 1,172 metres downhole. This interval includes a 465-metre section grading 3.02 g/t AuEq, with 1.49 g/t Au, 1.44% Cu, and 20.70 g/t Mo from 1,487 metres downhole.

The company has also reported results from EX_BRESPO_03A, which returned 707 metres grading 1.08 g/t AuEq, comprising 0.56 g/t Au, 0.48% Cu, and 40.18 g/t Mo from 1,175 metres downhole. Additionally, EX_BRESPO_05 intersected 328 metres grading 3.28 g/t AuEq, with 1.97 g/t Au, 1.24% Cu, and 4.82 g/t Mo from 1,176 metres downhole.

The Brevene Porphyry South discovery has demonstrated potential to extend mineralization in multiple directions. Drilling has confirmed a large potassic alteration envelope exceeding 500 metres by 500 metres and more than 1,000 metres in vertical extent. The system is interpreted to extend onto the central to northwestern boundary of the Chelopech mine concession, with mineralization remaining open to the north, south, west, and at depth, where it is interpreted to plunge southwest.

DPM Metals Inc. is pursuing a large-scale development option, planning up to 15,000 metres of additional drilling from the Chelopech mine concession through the end of 2026. The company is also advancing permitting activities to convert the Brevene exploration licence to a mining concession under Bulgaria’s well-defined permitting framework.

Preliminary metallurgical testwork indicates that Brevene Porphyry South mineralization is amenable to conventional rougher-cleaner flotation, with open-cycle tests producing copper-gold concentrates at grades ranging between 10% to 25% for copper and 12 g/t to 20 g/t gold. The company believes that the Brevene Porphyry South target, located within an established mining district, will transform the Chelopech camp into a Tier One asset.
