Doug Larson named General Manager of Integra Pool Covers

KNOXVILLE, Tenn., Explore Industries, a global leader in the fiberglass swimming pool industry, has named Doug Larson as the new General Manager of Integra Pool Covers, the company’s automatic pool cover business. This strategic appointment is aimed at driving growth and operational efficiency across the entire Integra Pool Covers operation.
In his new role, Larson will lead a diverse array of responsibilities, including sales support, manufacturing, supply chain management, warranty operations, business development, and product innovation. His primary goal is to enhance Integra’s operations, expand its dealer network, and increase its consumer base.
“Doug brings a wealth of experience in the automatic pool cover industry, along with strong operational leadership and business ownership skills,” said David Pain, CEO and Co-Founder of Explore Industries. “His appointment is crucial as Integra Pool Covers represents a significant growth opportunity for us. Larson’s career in the automatic pool cover industry spans over three decades. He began his journey in 1995, installing automatic covers for Coverstar while attending school. After obtaining his MBA, he worked with KPMG and Washington Mutual Bank before returning to Coverstar in 2008 as President. He served in this capacity until 2016, subsequently leading InterWest Safety as President and later purchasing Certified Services Group, a Salt Lake City-based service company.
