Donald P. Oliver, an author with Christian Faith Publishing, has released a new book titled "Everyone Should Be Afraid to Sin: But They Are Not," a work that aims to call readers to repentance and reinforce biblical accountability.
In his book, Oliver addresses the contemporary culture's tendency to normalize sin, stating, "There are many voices in this world today that convince you to participate in sin, making it seem like everyone is sinning, so it must be okay." He draws parallels between this modern scenario and the pre-flood era described in the Bible, emphasizing the importance of recognizing sin and its consequences.
Oliver cites the account of Noah's time, where only eight people were saved, warning, "Are we in the last days? In the Holy Bible, in Matthew chapter 24, Jesus speaks about things that will happen in the end times, and many of those things are happening, wars and rumors of wars, earthquakes, famine, and nations against nations. In that chapter of the book of Matthew, Jesus also lets us know that no one knows the hour or the day when that will happen."
The author stresses the inevitability of judgment, stating, "We are all born into this world in our personal last days, not knowing when we will die and then the judgment. This book brings light to the subject that we will be judged, and through Jesus, we can be declared not guilty if Jesus is our Savior."
Oliver encourages readers to take an honest look at their lives, fear sin rightly, and place their trust fully in Christ for salvation. He also warns against ignorance, stating, "Second Corinthians chapter 2 speaks about not being ignorant of Satan’s schemes. Still, if you don’t study God’s Word for yourself, you can perish from the lack of knowledge about sin, hell, and salvation, because there is no lack of liars who say something is in the Bible when it is not, to convince you that something is not sin when it is. Please don’t wait until it is too late for salvation."
Published by Christian Faith Publishing, "Everyone Should Be Afraid to Sin: But They Are Not" is now available for purchase at traditional brick-and-mortar bookstores or online at Amazon.com, Apple iTunes store, or Barnes and Noble.
This new release serves as a call to spiritual awakening, encouraging readers to confront the reality of sin, judgment, and salvation through Jesus Christ.
