SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 8, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Docusign, the company that brings agreements to life, has introduced a new tool to simplify the document preparation process. With more than 70% of Docusign eSignature requests starting as PDFs, the company is addressing a common pain point for businesses by integrating powerful PDF editing capabilities directly into its platform.

The new Docusign PDF Editor, available for purchase starting on November 2, 2026, in English, Dutch, French, and additional languages planned for 2027, aims to streamline the document creation and editing process. This tool is designed to help businesses across legal, sales, procurement, HR, and more manage their agreements more efficiently.

Docusign PDF Editor offers a range of features, including the ability to create and edit PDFs, combine files, reorder or delete pages, redact sensitive information, add annotations, create forms, and convert file types. Once a document is ready, users can move directly to the Docusign signing workflow without having to manually upload documents. This seamless integration ensures that businesses can reduce manual handoffs and simplify their document management processes.

The tool also preserves a full auditable record, with changes made before signing remaining connected to the agreement history. Once a document is signed, editing is locked to maintain the integrity of the agreement. Additionally, Docusign PDF Editor allows businesses to manage agreements after signing, leveraging AI to analyze documents and provide insights on key dates, renewals, and potential risks.

Docusign, which serves over 1.9 million customers and more than a billion people in over 180 countries, is expanding its platform with Docusign PDF Editor. This move is part of the company's broader Intelligent Agreement Management (IAM) platform, which aims to create, sign, and manage agreements in a smarter and more connected way.

By integrating PDF editing capabilities directly into its platform, Docusign is addressing the gap between document preparation and the broader agreement management process. This new offering is expected to help businesses reduce the opportunity for version confusion and ensure that sensitive documents remain secure and intact throughout the agreement lifecycle.
