Docufilms, the Emmy Award-winning production company based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, has launched a new podcast called Doing Good. The podcast aims to celebrate the people and organizations turning compassion into sustained action, sharing inspiring stories and candid conversations with individuals, nonprofits, and companies making a positive impact in their communities.
Produced by Anna Farrier, Gabriella Marks, and Michael Campbell, Doing Good will delve into the choices, relationships, and responsibilities behind the work of those who are making a difference. The podcast will feature community leaders, advocates, entrepreneurs, volunteers, and others whose work showcases the many different forms doing good can take.
The first episodes will introduce listeners to Zachariah Ben, a sixth-generation Diné farmer and founder of Bidii Baby Foods, Eric Sirotkin, an attorney and founder of the Ubuntu Works Project, Juliana Ciano, co-founder of Reunity Resources, and Dr. Zane Maroney, a psychiatrist who invites communities to replace the question "What's wrong with you?" with "What happened to you?"
Each episode will explore the choices, relationships, and responsibilities behind the work of those featured. The podcast aims to examine how care becomes action and how action can create lasting change. Listeners are invited to join the Doing Good community by sharing the story of someone they know who is making a positive impact. Suggestions can be submitted through the podcast's website at doinggood.fm.
Michael Campbell, co-founder and executive producer of DocuFilms, said, "We created Doing Good because remarkable acts of care are happening all around us, often without recognition. We want to give those stories a platform, invite meaningful conversation, and encourage more people to consider how they, too, can make a difference."
The podcast launches on September 15, 2026, and will be available on all major podcast platforms. Through intimate, story-led conversations, Doing Good will highlight the many forms doing good can take, from preserving culture and nourishing families to transforming conflict and changing how people understand one another.
