SAN DIEGO, Sept. 29, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Digital Force Technologies (DFT), a San Diego-based defense technology company specializing in the development and manufacturing of Full-Stack Mission Systems, has been awarded a $500M Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract by Joint Interagency Task Force 401 (JIATF-401). The contract will enable DFT to provide Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-UAS) and Counter-Small Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-sUAS) capabilities in support of the Domestic Shield Program, a critical initiative focused on protecting military installations, critical assets, and personnel from rapidly evolving unmanned aerial threats.

The award represents a significant milestone for DFT, reinforcing the company's commitment to rapidly delivering adaptable, mission-ready technology to the warfighter. Under the IDIQ, DFT will provide its C-UAS family of systems, powered by SeraphimOS™, to support Department of Defense personnel conducting force protection, base defense, and counter-UAS operations globally, including in Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside Continental United States (OCONUS) environments.

DFT's C-UAS system, which is part of the company's C-sUAS capabilities, is designed to support the full kill chain from detection, tracking, and identification through engagement with kinetic and non-kinetic effects. The platform's open architecture allows for integration across a broad ecosystem of sensors, effectors, platforms, and third-party systems, enabling DFT to configure mission-specific capabilities without requiring a closed, single-vendor technology stack. This flexibility ensures that DFT's systems can evolve alongside the rapidly changing UAS threat landscape.

The award supports JIATF-401's Domestic Shield initiative, which aims to accelerate the deployment of layered C-UAS capabilities to protect military installations, critical assets, and personnel against increasingly agile drone threats. Gen. Matt Ross, director of JIATF-401.

DFT's mission-tailored systems are designed to detect threats, make decisions, and execute effects at machine speed, enabling military operators to respond swiftly and effectively to emerging threats. The company has fielded thousands of systems in support of the nation's most critical missions, including those in the U.S. military. For more than 25 years, DFT has combined deep operational expertise with advanced technologies to rapidly design, develop, and manufacture mission-ready capabilities that meet the evolving demands of the modern battlefield.
