HERNDON, Va., Oct. 8, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Deltek, the intelligent platform for project-based businesses, has unveiled the Top Federal Opportunities for FY 2027, providing government contractors with decision-ready intelligence for the upcoming fiscal year. The analysis, conducted by more than 150 GovWin IQ analysts, evaluates the largest business opportunities expected to be offered by federal agencies over the next 12 months, ranked by estimated contract value.

The report series includes two main components: the Top 20 Unrestricted Opportunities for FY 2027 and the Top 10 Set-Aside Opportunities for FY 2027. These reports, along with accompanying webinars, aim to help contractors plan their pipelines and pursue the right work as the federal fiscal year begins.

Among the top unrestricted opportunities, the Army Logistics Civil Augmentation Program VI (LOGCAP VI) stands out as the largest, with an estimated contract value of $82 billion. This contract encompasses core logistics functions such as Deployment and Distribution, Supply, Maintenance, Logistics Services, Operational Contract Support, Engineering, and Health Services. The Army plans to release a separate Small Business Suite solicitation to replace other logistics contracts and facilitate rapid mobilization efforts.

The DTIC Information Analysis Centers Multiple Award Contract (IAC MAC) is another significant opportunity, with a ceiling value that has jumped from $28 billion to $48 billion ahead of the recompetition. This research and development vehicle maintains three Technical Focus Area Pools, with one pool reserved for small business concerns.

The Management and Operation of the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory FFRDC is a prestigious facility management contract, estimated to be worth $30 billion. Historically sole-sourced to Caltech, this cycle introduces a bidding environment that unlocks significant short- and long-term teaming and subcontracting opportunities within aerospace and technology.

In the set-aside opportunities, the Special Operational Equipment Tailored Logistics Support Program 6 (SOE TLS) is the largest small-business opportunity, with an estimated contract value of $60 billion. This Defense Logistics Agency requirement already supports roughly $3 billion in annual sales and has issued more than 50,000 task orders since its award.

The Streamlined Technology Acquisition Resources for Services IV (STARS IV) is a GSA 8(a) IT services vehicle, the direct successor to 8(a) STARS III. Its timing is notable, coming as the 8(a) program resumed approving new applicants in August 2026 after a year-long pause, with an estimated contract value of $50 billion.

The Census Bureau Transformation Application Modernization (CenTAM) is a brand-new requirement with no incumbent, offering an estimated contract value of $2.6 billion. This new requirement will support modernization across the Census Bureau's business, IT, demographic, and decennial programs through four separate Blanket Purchase Agreements.

Kevin Plexico, Senior Vice President, Information Solutions at Deltek, emphasized the importance of knowing exactly where to focus for the year ahead.
