Defiance Silver Corp. announced positive results from its recent drilling campaign at the San Acacio resource area on the Zacatecas project. The campaign, aimed at confirming the extension of known mineralized structures and validating the geological model, has yielded encouraging findings.

The company completed 6,132 meters in 21 holes, focusing primarily on the San Acacio area. Notably, the results from holes DDSA-26-89 to DDSA-26-92 have been released. These holes are part of the broader effort to integrate assay results into the upcoming Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE).

Among the highlights, hole DDSA-26-89 returned 2.75 meters of 118.94 grams per tonne (g/t) silver in a larger interval of the Veta Grande vein system. Hole DDSA-26-90 intersected 0.34 meters of 735.00 g/t silver, within a larger interval of 1.79 meters grading 148.97 g/t silver and 0.12 g/t gold. Hole DDSA-26-91A yielded 0.31 meters of 990.00 g/t silver and 0.28 g/t gold, within a larger interval of 1.40 meters grading 221.00 g/t silver and 1.49 meters of 41.74 g/t silver, 1.38 g/t gold, 0.26% lead, and 1.03% zinc. Hole DDSA-26-92 returned 1.29 meters of 80.43 g/t silver, 0.34 g/t gold, and 0.18% lead and 0.34% zinc.

The drilling was carried out to determine the continuity of the Veta Grande vein system, which was found near the surface and well-preserved but strongly oxidized. Narrow zones with high mineral concentrations were also discovered in the hanging wall of the Veta Grande vein system.

These results are part of the ongoing exploration efforts in the Zacatecas project, which includes the Lucita South area. The Lucita project is part of the larger 4,217 hectare Zacatecas Project, where previous grassroots discoveries have reported impressive silver grades. For instance, drill hole DDLU-22-10 intersected up to 737 g/t silver, and drillhole DDSA-21-50 returned a downhole interval of 1.15 meters grading 1,603.90 g/t silver.

The drill locations are marked on an overview map, and detailed cross-sections provide a visual representation of the geological features. The company is hopeful that these results will contribute significantly to the upcoming Mineral Resource Estimate, which is currently underway.

Defiance Silver Corp. continues to advance its district-scale projects in Mexico, including the Zacatecas and Tepal projects. The company is managed by a team with a track record of exploring, advancing, and developing several operating mines and advanced resource projects.
