PEACHTREE CORNERS, Ga., Sept. 21, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- TripleX Global, LLC and GIIB Sovereign Fund Management have signed a Letter of Intent to deploy decentralized sovereign data nodes inside merchant businesses across the Republic of Korea in a 20-year, $5 billion program. The initiative aims to unlock the digital economy by integrating advanced technology directly into the daily operations of small and medium-sized businesses.

TripleX Global will place its TripleX POS Data Nodes, models G5, R5, A10, and i5, inside merchant locations. Each node is designed to run private large language model AI entirely on-device, process every modern payment type through an integrated POS terminal, and participate in a decentralized sovereign computing network. The nodes are equipped with powerful hardware, ranging from RTX 4060 with 16 GB GDDR6 to AMD Ryzen AI MAX+ 395 with 128 GB and 126 TOPS of neural processing, ensuring robust performance and local data processing.

Under the agreement, the first phase of the program will activate 50,000 sovereign data nodes across merchant locations in Korea. The full deployment is expected to reach 500,000 merchant nodes over the 20-year period. Each node will begin generating revenue from the first transaction, providing merchants with immediate benefits.

The TripleX POS Data Node performs three key functions: 1. Private AI, On-Device: Every node runs large language model inference locally, providing customer service, inventory intelligence, sales analytics, and business operations entirely within the merchant's location. 2. Rebates Against Processing Fees: Merchants receive a structured rebate against processing fees on qualifying card and digital wallet transactions, returning a defined portion of fees directly to the business from the first transaction. 3. Business Hub, Digital Economy Revenue Streams: The iYap Business Hub unlocks additional revenue channels, including digital advertising, social commerce commissions, prepaid financial services commissions, and SaaS business tools.

Moreover, the idle device capacity will contribute to Korea's distributed sovereign data network, supporting national data storage, blockchain consensus, and edge computing. This participation generates independent revenue, sustaining the ecosystem and generating government tax yield without budget allocations or grant funding.

The program is backed by the GIIB Sovereign Fund Management Matching Fund for Digital Infrastructure Deployment, a long-term LP and matching-fund investment framework designed to coordinate qualified sovereign and institutional capital for digital infrastructure deployments globally. The initiative is expected to create an auditable income base that sustains the network and generates government tax yield, demonstrating the potential for decentralized technology to transform the digital landscape in Korea.
