DataAgent launches AI-driven platform for autonomous incident remediation

DataAgent, a Tel Aviv-based startup, has emerged from stealth and launched its remediation-first platform, which autonomously fixes production faults in an organization's infrastructure. The company has secured $10 million in pre-seed funding, led by MizMaa Ventures and Alicorn Venture Partners.

Founded in January 2026 by Ishay Yaari and Nati Shalom, Co-Founders and CEO and CTO respectively, DataAgent aims to revolutionize how modern applications handle incidents. The platform operates as an AI-native autonomous system, integrating directly into cloud-native control planes and overlaying existing observability systems without replacing them.

"We pair a production remediation engine that fixes failures after they happen with a pre-production engine that blocks them before code ever ships," explained Yaari. "Prevention and remediation are fused into one continuous lifecycle, making the system smarter with every failure it stops and every incident it resolves."

The platform's capabilities include real-time autonomous resolution of incidents, 360-degree architectural context, continuous reinforcement learning, and an open-source agent. By restoring service first and running a deeper root-cause analysis offline, DataAgent significantly reduces mean-time-to-resolution (MTTR). It also ensures that telemetry never leaves the customer's environment, maintaining control over their infrastructure and data.

Traditional observability platforms detect a fault and route it to an engineer, who then investigates and applies a fix. This process often requires a second, paid copy of a customer's telemetry to be shipped to a vendor's cloud, increasing costs as the system grows. DataAgent's approach reverses this order, identifying and fixing issues directly in the customer's environment, thereby eliminating the need for expensive external data transfers.

The platform is designed to support customers without the need for a full migration, allowing teams to see results without downtime. By analyzing telemetry locally and focusing deep inspection on critical code paths, DataAgent can drastically reduce observability costs, potentially cutting up to 90% of a customer's spend.

DataAgent currently has a team of 15 members and is actively recruiting additional go-to-market staff in the United States and Israel. The company plans to use the funding to bring its platform to market and accelerate customer adoption in North America.
