DAOU Vineyards, one of the world's leading wine estates in the Adelaida District of Paso Robles, is celebrating California Wine Month with two exclusive Cabernet Sauvignon experiences at its Paso Robles estate. The events, hosted at the DAOU Mountain Tasting Room, offer visitors a chance to explore the winery’s limited and library wines, showcasing its commitment to the Cabernet Sauvignon variety.
For the months of September and October, DAOU is featuring its 2022 Three Sisters Limited Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon as the centerpiece of the Discover DAOU Flight. This single-vintage release, affectionately known as "The Three Sisters" due to the three angels on its label, is crafted from Cabernet Sauvignon grown on DAOU Mountain and aged for 22 months in 80% new French oak. Bold, precise, and built to age, this limited-release wine can only be found at the DAOU Mountain Tasting Room while supplies last. Guests who purchase one or more bottles will receive a gift, limited to one per purchase.
Additionally, DAOU is offering a rare vertical tasting of its Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon vintages from 2011 through 2015. This special event, available from September 20 through October, highlights the evolution of the wine across different growing seasons. The Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon was the first wine produced by DAOU, establishing the foundation for the winery’s pursuit of world-class Cabernet Sauvignon from Paso Robles. The vertical tasting will be offered at DAOU Mountain throughout September and October, with select library vintages also available for purchase through the DAOU website.
The DAOU Mountain Tasting Room, a sought-after destination for wine enthusiasts, offers world-class wines and generous hospitality, paired with breathtaking 360-degree views. This harvest season carries added significance as the first since all three DAOU estate vineyards earned California Certified Organic Farmers (CCOF) certification. The winery and all estate vineyards are also Certified California Sustainable Winegrowing (CCSW) certified, reinforcing DAOU's broader commitment to responsible land stewardship and preserving the beauty and vitality of DAOU Mountain for generations to come.
