Dr. Grasso joins Cyllene Therapeutics from Kyverna Therapeutics, where he served as CFO. Prior to that, he held the same position at Alector and was CFO and Chief Business Officer at Kura Oncology. His extensive experience in managing significant funding rounds and securing strategic partnerships will be invaluable as Cyllene Therapeutics continues to advance its lead DNA medicine candidate, EG110A.
EG110A, a first-in-class DNA medicine, is currently in a Phase 1b/2a study in the United States for the treatment of neurogenic detrusor overactivity (neurogenic bladder)-related incontinence. This is the first human study with non-replicating herpes simplex virus (nrHSV) vectors targeting sensory neuron-based diseases.
