PRINEVILLE, Ore., Oct. 12, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Cv International, Inc., a leader in aviation ground support equipment, has been awarded a contract by the U.S. Air Force to design, fabricate, test, and install a comprehensive modular maintenance work stand system at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma. This project, which will support the 76th Aircraft Maintenance Group's Program Depot Maintenance mission, aims to deliver advanced maintenance platform solutions that accelerate aircraft servicing, improve mission-capable rates, and return aircraft to operational readiness more quickly.
Cv International, with over four decades of experience in engineering, design, and advanced ground support equipment, brings a wealth of expertise to this project. The company will leverage its capabilities in initial engineering, on-site field verification, precision fabrication, quality assurance, and comprehensive technical documentation to transform complex maintenance requirements into reliable, field-proven solutions.
The new system will be compatible and interchangeable with existing maintenance stand sets, including the Conect/Crown, Staircase Stands, and Pig Pen stand. It will feature electrically powered height adjustment, recessed hardware, and collapsible engine stand railings, along with integrated electrical power, compressed air, and lighting throughout the stand. A key part of Cvi's responsibility will be developing a complete technical data package for the system, including field-verification of existing equipment and configurations, and the creation of engineering drawings, CAD models, and manufacturing documentation necessary for fabrication, assembly, and future stand sets.
Cvi International's proposal demonstrated the company's engineering and manufacturing qualifications, including Licensed Professional Engineer documentation, ISO 9001:2015 certification, and AWS welding certifications.
The project represents another important opportunity for Cvi International to apply its aviation ground support expertise to a critical U.S. Air Force maintenance mission. The company will perform the work in accordance with the contract requirements and its ISO 9001:2015-certified Quality Management System.
