SAN DIEGO, CA, UNITED STATES, October 13, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- CureMatch, a leader in digital health precision oncology, has published a landmark study in npj Genomic Medicine that validates its algorithmic Molecular Matching Score system. The study, based on data from 540 advanced cancer patients, links the CureMatch platform's ability to match comprehensive multi-omic profiles with optimized combination cancer therapies to significantly improved real-world clinical outcomes.
The research, which analyzed a vast breadth of cancer types, including breast (n = 98), colorectal (n = 64), and pancreatic (n = 54) cancers, found that the CureMatch Molecular Matching Score system correlated with improved survival rates. Specifically, patients with the highest matching scores (Group A: 67-100%) experienced a near-doubled reduction in mortality risk compared to those with a 0% match, demonstrating a powerful Hazard Ratio (HR) of 0.51 (95% CI, 0.34-0.78; P = 0.00153).
Intermediate tiers of matching scores also showed robust, statistically significant clinical survival benefits. Patients in Group B (34-66% match) experienced an HR of 0.58 (P = 0.00216), while those in Group C (1-33% match) tracked an HR of 0.74 (P = 0.0217). The study also demonstrated a tripling of progression-free survival (PFS) from 3.0 months to 9.0 months for the highest-matched cohort compared to a 0% match (HR: 0.34, P < 0.01).
Furthermore, the study revealed a significant increase in the Clinical Benefit Rate (CBR), which surged to 55.9% compared to 22.1% for the 0% match cohort in adjusted multivariate models (OR: 4.59, P < 0.01). These findings underscore the importance of personalized, data-driven combination therapies in navigating the complex landscape of advanced cancer.
