HOCHIMINH CITY, Vietnam, Sept. 18, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- CT UAV, a leading Vietnamese UAV manufacturer, has unveiled the CT Pegas 230, a heavy-lift transport UAV capable of carrying up to 100 kilograms. This new model, with a maximum take-off weight of 230 kilograms, is designed to support various sectors, including construction, mining, and marine and island environments.

The CT Pegas 230 is poised to play a crucial role in Vietnam’s UAV industry, particularly in challenging terrains such as the Northwest, the Central Highlands, islands, coastal areas, and the Mekong Delta’s muddy canal networks. It has been successfully tested and is expected to serve as an effective partner in transporting materials and equipment to remote construction sites and mines in rugged and hard-to-reach areas.

In the energy sector, the UAV can assist in the installation of power transmission, wind power, and solar power systems. Additionally, it can support rapid transport of goods between the mainland, islands, vessels, and offshore facilities in marine and island environments. The CT Pegas 230 is also well-suited for rescue operations during the upcoming rainy and storm season, enabling the swift delivery of essential supplies such as food, drinking water, and medicines to hard-to-reach areas.

The UAV has already secured orders for 135 units from several domestic organizations on its first day of availability. CT UAV, which operates five manufacturing plants capable of producing nearly all components in-house, is currently expanding its global presence. The company plans to inaugurate a UAV factory in the United States on September 21, 2026, as part of its strategic growth plans.

CT UAV’s Deputy General Director, Mr. Tran Quang Khoi, highlighted the challenges and difficulties faced by the company in developing UAV technology. Despite occasional disparagement from ill-intentioned individuals, the company remains committed to proving its technological capabilities through tangible results in both domestic and international markets.

In addition to the CT Pegas 230, CT UAV is currently researching and developing an ultra-heavy-lift UAV with a payload capacity of up to 500 kilograms. This new product is expected to further enhance the company’s market position and contribute to various sectors of Vietnam’s economy.

CT UAV’s CT Group Hi-Tech Concentrated Digital Technology Park, located at 550 Intersection, Provincial Road 743, Binh Hoa Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, serves as the company’s primary manufacturing hub. The park houses 22 laboratories in Vietnam, the United States, France, Israel, and Taiwan, and is open to on-site visits from businesses, partners, and domestic and international organizations.

The company’s commitment to innovation and intellectual property creation is evident, with hundreds of inventions, patents, utility solutions, industrial designs, and technical improvements generated each year. CT UAV continues to work with partners in several other countries, including the United States and Australia, to further its global reach.
